the end of this month (March 2021) will be my 1 year mark and I really can’t believe I actually did the damn thing!
230lb., size XXL + 20 ➡️ 145lb., size S/M + 6 🤯
how I did it:
phase 1: the slow changes
•still cooked the same meals, just ate smaller portions
•slowly weaned off caffeine
•started The Biggest Loser Last Chance Workout DVD
phase 2: turning up the heat 🔥
•began a caloric deficit using MyFitnessPal to track calories
•completely caffeine free
•cut bad carbs out of my diet (never counted them though)
•drank at least half a gallon of water daily
•started intermittent fasting; 16:8 method
•walked 3-4 miles 5 days a week pushing my son in his stroller
phase 3: on fire 🔥🔥🔥
•still intermittent fasting + caloric deficit
•2 hours in the gym, 5 days a week
•12-30-3 treadmill workout
•light weight lifting
•restarted Last Chance Workout program
•gallon of water a day
•daily multi-vitamin, ACV, and vitamin C
•more active lifestyle
the physical transformation might seem insane, but what’s even crazier is how much better I feel MENTALLY! The girl in that first photo was miserable. I felt like garbage everyday. I had zero energy. My self esteem was very, very low. I struggled with depression most days. I’m proud of myself for how far I’ve come mentally. I wake up now feeling full of life, actually ready to start the day! I can keep up with my wild toddler way better! I actually love life now. I’m so glad I realized I HAD to make time for myself! I had to implement that level of self care.
Take care of yourself, babes! Promise it’ll be the best decision of your life if you stick with it. Even when you mess up, forgive yourself and get back to work! I’ve messed up so many times through this journey! Show yourself grace 💓
